With Krisp’s latest addition, once your meeting is recorded, navigating to the meeting page will now display both the recording and a notification: “Preparing Transcript… We will notify you when it’s done.” This ensures that you’re not left wondering about the status of your transcript, we handle the details while you focus on what’s important.

How to Get Multilingual Meeting Transcriptions

To access our multilingual meeting transcriptions, simply start by audio recording your meeting in Krisp. This single step is your gateway to effortlessly generating transcripts in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and 91 other languages. Once recorded, we handle the rest—from processing to notifying you when your transcript is ready to view and collaborate on.

At Krisp, we are committed to breaking down communication barriers. Multilingual meeting transcriptions is still in beta. This update is designed to streamline how teams work with recorded and transcribed meetings, making it easier than ever to share, review, and edit meeting content collaboratively.

What Has Changed?

Until now, participants had to manually share recorded or transcribed meetings with colleagues, which could be annoying, especially when quick team alignment was necessary. With collaborative meetings, we aim to remove these hurdles by integrating a direct invitation system into the meeting’s interface.

How It Works?

After a meeting that has been recorded or transcribed with Krisp, participants will now see a straightforward “Invite to collaborate” option. There’s no need to update the app, simply click this button on the Meetings page after the meeting to start collaborating seamlessly.

The new feature offers several significant advantages:

• Focused interaction: The modal is designed to be intuitive. It includes essential elements like a meeting selector (when applicable), and a participant list that updates dynamically based on the selected meeting.
• Default editing permissions: To expedite collaboration, all invited participants within the same workspace are granted ‘Can Edit’ permissions by default. This setting ensures that team members can start working together immediately, without the need for additional configuration. You can always change their access afterwards.
• Integrated meeting content: If you have a transcription or recording of a meeting and another participant shares the same meeting with you, the contents will be automatically merged under one meeting entry on My Meetings page. This ensures that all relevant information is consolidated, making it easier to manage and review meeting details.

This feature, part of the broader suite of Krisp AI Meeting Assistant capabilities, was designed to make online interactions as productive and hassle-free as possible.

Introducing Video Recording

Krisp Recording becomes even better by introducing Video Recording capabilities, powered by Krisp Bot. This new feature elevates your meeting experience by allowing you to capture not just the audio but also the visual dynamics of your meetings, whether it’s a brainstorming session, a webinar, or a casual team catch-up.

Currently, Video Recording with Krisp Bot is available only on Zoom, and we plan to extend its availability to more apps in the upcoming updates.

How It Works?

Activating Video Recording with Krisp Bot is straightforward. If you don’t already see the “Video Record via Bot” option in the Krisp app UI you can update your app to the latest version to start using the video recording function.

To enable video recording, you must invite Krisp Bot to the meeting. You can do this directly from the Krisp app by clicking on the “Video Record via Bot” option.

Afterward, Krisp Bot appears as any other participant. You can also remove the bot at any time using Krisp app. After the meeting, you can find the recording on the My Meetings page of your account dashboard. For more information about Krisp Bot you can check our help article.
